Tweedledum and Tweedledee

“An experiment by a boy attempting to write a nursery rhyme”

Tweedledum and Tweedledee,
Ran after a honey bee,
It went up to it’s bee hive,
Up on the mulberry tree.

Tweedledum asked Tweedledee,
“Will you climb up the tree?
I will fetch a basket,
To gather some mulberry.”

Up went Tweedledee.
Out came the honey bee,
Called out his little friends,
To sting the bum off Tweedledee.

Here came Tweedledum,
Wobbling with a basket,
Called out to Tweedledee
“Hey drop in the mulberry.”

The honey bee stung Tweedledee,
He slipped upon Tweedledum.
Chased by the swarm of bees
Ran Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

With not a grain of mulberry,
Ran Tweedledum and Tweedledee.
